I need help coming up with a paper topic.?

This semester I am taking The English Novel. I need to write a paper proposal, which is due next week but am unsure what topic to write on. We can write about anything as long as it is at least 50% about one of the books we are reading in cl. So far we have read Robinson Crusoe, Frankenstein, Jane Eyre, Hard Times by Charles ens and we will be reading A Clockwork Orange, Heart of Darkness by Conrad, Picture of Dorian Gray by Wilde, and Orwell's 1984. I thought about writing a paper that focuses on Jane Eyre as a Cinderella figure or Jane Eyre and how the book mirrors folk and fairy tales but I am not sure how easy that type of paper will be to write. I just want some options before I make a final decision.
