Im having trouble deciding what i should do about this guy? i need your help!?

a friend of mine told me she thought i should meet a guy she knows from work,we havent met yet but we started keeping in touch by email.things were going well but then i di not hear from him for 2 weeks up until this morning when he left me an email saying he was sorry and had been very busy with work and other things.its not that i think hes lying but it does only take a min to leave an email! so with that said i think it was a bit selfish on his part.lat night my friend told me he mentioned to her that i might be angry with him,which is silly because i hardly know the guy.what should i do? respond to his email telling him how i feel? or completely ignore him?
