Do the Oakland A's have as much as a chance to win the West now than the Angels?

I'd say they have just as good of a chance. The fact that the Angels lost Teixeira, K-Rod, and Garland will be felt. They do not have a proven closer on the team (Arredondo looks good, but they will have to see) They have no offensive protection in their lineup. Lackey and Escobar have had some injury problems. The A's have improved their offense, which was their weak point and have a lot of young talent to help with their pitching. I think they have a good chance.
