I have a problem with my diabetes.?

I recently found out that i have diabetes,in the beginning i was scare, and anxious and i was careful of what i ate, but after a while i went back to eating regular food such as ice creams, cakes, you know food that includes regular sugar, now i'm bleeding from my rectum, i have terrible pains on my side, i cough uncontrollably,and for some strange reason i can go through a case of water in one day, but only urinate just a little, someone please help me, i feel terrible and i don't know what else to do, im a little worried now because i have been having discomfort in my chest area a lot often.
