Anyone know a free website that teaches computer programming?

I am pretty accustomed to most basics with working on my cpu, but last month i was hit with a virus that compramissed my world of warcraft account, since then i have ridded myself of those free antivirus detectors, they sure didnt work. I am now rockin Norton 360 v3, now that my system is clean, ive been going thru everything.. what ive really been looking at is, when i start task manager, there are about 75 processes running, i dont think all these are necesary but want to make sure before i start dissabling them.... what really has me thrown for a loop is 2 or 3 that show up for a second when i start up task manager, then they dissapear....., i am also wondering about the access to these processes, im not sure what remote access does, i have dissabled that one already, so far no problems.. anyone that is computer savy that could give me any help would be much apprieciated.
